The Detroit Red Wings announced the signing of Marco Kasper to a three-year entry-level contract on Wednesday.

The move came just as NHL free agency opened.  Kasper, as an unsigned draft pick, was not required to wait until then.

The eighth-overall pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, Kasper is expected to play for Rogel BK of the SHL next season.
