Captain Dylan Larkin returned to the Detroit Red Wings after being away for a week for personal reasons.
Larkin was on the ice when his teammates took the ice Sunday at Little Caesars in preparation for hosting the Vegas Golden Knights.
It was Larkin’s first game since Oct. 30. With Larkin ready to return, Joe Veleno was sent back to the Grand Rapids Griffins.

Larkin has not practiced with the team since the game against Toronto. Coach Jeff Blashill limited his comments on Larkin to saying that he was “away for personal reasons.”
Larkin centers the top line between Lucas Raymond and Tyler Bertuzzi and has three goals and five assists in eight games.
