The NHL and NHLPA announced on Wednesday that Detroit Red Wings forward Jakub Vrana has entered the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program.

Vrana missed Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Kings for what the team called “personal reasons.” He was removed from the roster on the team’s website on Tuesday.

Per the release, he “will return to the Club when cleared for on-ice competition by the program administrators.”
