The Grand Rapids Griffins started the week off with a 4-0 loss on Wednesday to Chicago followed by a weekend split with Manitoba.  The loss to Chicago was the sixth consecutive loss to the Wolves this season.  The weekend split started with a 3-2 OT win followed by a 2-1 SO loss against the Moose.

Detroit Red Wings fans had a roller coaster week of emotions. Until Saturday, it was a disappointing week on the ice. Losses to Anaheim, Los Angeles, and San Jose on the road led to a shutout on Thursday to the Winnipeg Jets, and the Red Wings didn’t look very good in any of those games.
