Red Wings: Grand Rapids Griffins Opening Night Roster

The Detroit Red Wings AHL affiliate, the Grand Rapids Griffins, will open the 2021-22 season on Friday night at home against the Rockford Ice Hogs (Chicago)  Game time at Van Andel is            7:00 PM ET.

On Saturday, the Griffins will travel to play the Milwaukee  Admirals (Nashville).  Game time is  7:00 PM ET.

To start the season, the Griffins will have 22 players on the roster: 13 forwards, seven defensemen, and two goaltenders.  Seven players drafted by Detroit will be in the opening night lineup.
