Dylan Larkin, the Detroit Red Wings‘ captain and leading scorer, has been named to his second NHL All-Star Game.
He could be joined at next month’s event by teammate Lucas Raymond, who is a “Last Man In” candidate.
Larkin entered Thursday’s match against the Winnipeg Jets at Little Caesars Arena with 32 points in 32 games. Raymond, a rookie, was second on the roster with 30 points in 37 games.
Voting for the final spot on each division’s All-Star roster will be on NHL.com through 11:59 p.m. Monday. Fans can submit 10 votes per 24 hours.
Larkin, 25, played in the 2016 All-Star Game in Nashville. He has been a star for the Wings since making the team in 2015, one year after being drafted at No. 15. Larkin was named captain by general manager Steve Yzerman in January 2021.

THURSDAY’S GAME: How to watch the Wings take on the Jets
The All-Star Game is scheduled for T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Feb. 5 (3 p.m. ET; ABC) and will consist of a three-game tournament played in a 3-on-3 format, featuring teama from each of the four divisions. Andrew Brunette (Florida Panthers) will coach the Atlantic, Rod Brind’Amour (Carolina Hurricanes) the Metropolitan, Jared Bednar (Colorado Avalanche) the Central and Peter DeBoer (Vegas Golden Knights the Pacific.
Like Larkin, Raymond made the Wings at 19. Raymond was given the opportunity to play on a line with Larkin and Tyler Bertuzzi when Jakub Vrana left training camp with a shoulder injury, and Raymond didn’t take long to ace the audition. He has played with a poise, and, together with teammate Moritz Seider, is a leading Calder Trophy (rookie of the year) candidate.
“I think his confidence, honestly, with him and with Mo — they both play with a confidence and a swagger that they can get the job done and they can play at a high level,” goalie Alex Nedeljkovic said. “Even if it’s their first year in the league, which is great, which is what you want to see. Because that’s something that’s hard to find and hard to get to a point where it doesn’t matter what happens that day or the day before, you feel good and you have the confidence in yourself to know that you are going to get the job done. That’s special. Not everybody has it, not everybody can get to that point.”
