Last summer, Harold Washington Jr. picked up his first hockey stick as part of the Red Wings Learn, Play, Score program. Shortly after, he was selected to announce the Red Wings six overall pick alongside Steve Yzerman during the 2021 NHL Draft.
In January, we welcomed Harold and his family to his first NHL game.
