The Detroit Red Wings had a problem scoring the puck this year. We can argue about that, but at the end of the day, the Red Wings were unable to win games because they were unable to score the puck. t’s time to change that.

The Red Wings are heading into the off-season in a full on remodel. With 11 players currently listed as free agents, and next year having another 11, they will have a lot of moving pieces. Especially in this situation.

The Red Wings who missed the playoffs for their six straight season, and in doing so, fired head coach, Jeff Blashill. That being said, they will be looking to hire a new head coach this off-season that can lead a group of young players and help them develop. Furthermore, they will be looking to get a coach that can help utilize their players strengths and get wins in the process.

Who the Red Wings will chose to hire is something that will be debated a lot until they actually hire one. But, the question still remains on what they will do this off-season to help get their team into a better situation. Losing 11 players this off-season, you just can’t let that happen. So, what is Yzerman going to do? Well, we have a thought or two.
