The Wings trudge into Vegas with the dark cloud of a three-game looming streak hovering overhead. Our last outing saw a disappointing shootout loss in Hockeytown West (Arizona), complete with third-period dramatics. Hellberg got the nod in Arizona but tonight we’re back with Husso.
The Knights are 28-15-2 on the season and looking down on the rest of the Pacific. The Red Wings are starting to look like easy pickings to get 2 points and stay ahead of the Kings and Kraken that are only 2 points behind the Knights themselves. But a team that needs points playing at home in a rowdy arena? This is a good time for the Wings to play The Spoilers once more.
Check back this afternoon for expected lineups, but the Knights as a newer team are a lot of “oh yeah, I forgot he plays there now”.
