Detroit’s last game was the type of game that we saw a lot of last year, but less of this year. They are still, of course, hard to watch when they happen, but at least we are seeing more good efforts to balance them out.

It was 1-0 three minutes into the game and 3-0 by the end of the first period, and typically that sentence is not followed by “but the team came back to win the game and everyone was happy and forgot about the horrible start.” Last game was not atypical.

Tuesday night’s game ended with Dylan Larkin getting hurt, which is a terrible way to start, continue, or finish a game. Hopefully he won’t be out for an extended period of time.

I guess the good news is that Dallas likely won’t wear those stormtrooper uniforms. Some of our players have trouble shooting accurately as it is without being reminded of the most applicable pop culture reference every time they look at the other team.
